I have roaches, can I break my lease?

I live in california and have a one year lease. There are still six months left before the lease expires. When I moved in I noticed there were roaches and the manager had a company come out and spray my apartment. The problem did not go away completely, but with the cold weather I started to notice fewer roaches. I did not want to have the apartment sprayed again due to the fact that I was pregnant. Now I have noticed several roaches in my home and my daughter is now one month old. I told the manager about the problem and also mentioned that I do not want any sprays in my apartment due to my daughter. The roaches come out of the walls and the entire building is full of them. The manager said she would look into what she can do, but I doubt she will be able to find a non harmful way to get rid of them completely. I also have mold in my bathroom. My lease doesn't state anything about roaches. There is a page however that says that apartment needs to be kept well ventilated to avoid mold growth, but I have kept it well ventilated. Can I get out of my lease? If so how?

that sounds great. the only thing u should watch out for are those string cheeses and the chips, but u seem to be regulating! eating nuts improves lifespan (proven fact, read the blue zones). u should try to incorporate a little protein in ur diet without using meat, and some eggs in moderation (don't do scrambled eggs, but things like eggs in certain recipes r good) i no u did cheeze but u should try drinking as much milk as possible (not chocolate milk) and yogurt, 2. u r really good- i could never do that when i started eating healthy! keep it up!

Decadron side effects?

I just went to the dr and was diagnosed with bronchitis. He gave me some cough medicine and antibiotics and also a shot of decadron. I had decadron about a year ago and knew it causes me to not sleep but i didn't remember that it makes me sweat until it started happening this time. The thing about depression, is the person needs to see that they have a problem that needs a solution, which ultimately only they can provide. You can help and support your friend, but he may well just use that as an excuse to sink even further. Try and get him to focus on the positives in his life and do things that proactively help him see thi. Even if it is small steps, it can be enough.

How would you feel if a vigilante....?

This is a hard one for me as a christian, because killing is wrong. But the amount of damage done to people and their families, is heart breaking. I don't think they should be killed, but I do feel they should be stopped, however, if that did have to happen, there would be killing involved, hopefully more good people killing the bad guys, because they are selfish and greedy, and I wont feel bad or that it was wrong if killing them is what it takes. My best friend of over 8 years stopped talking to me about six months ago. We were best friends in the late years of elementary school and most of high school. I've tried calling her parents' cell phones and her house phone and she won't pick up. I tried to call one of our old friends we used to hang out with back in middle school but she didn't answer her phone either. Quill inside dog after vet PLEASE HELP ME!?

my (technically my roommates) 10 month old Dalmatian was stuck by a porcupine the other night. He bit it, so he had quite a few inside his mouth that were removed by a vet. I have a 1990 Chevy K1500 truck with a 350 5.7 engine with over 230,000 miles and a automatic R400 transmission (i think its a R400). Engine is leaking oil somewhere. Mechanics couldn't find the leak with just a basic inspection. It is coming from the back and near bottom of the engine i believe. I just had the transmission rebuilt and was wondering how much it would cost to have the engine rebuilt by a mechanic? Also how much would it cost if I rebuilt it myself? How much extra would it cost to rebuild it to a 383 stroker? I am by no means a "expert" mechanic so is this possible for me to do? Would a 383 stroker work well with the R400 transmission or will I have problems there? Any and all help is appreciated!

I've been trying to get a higher percentage of calories from protein as well. It's pretty tough. The best thing I've found so far is tuna fish. You can add a teaspoon of light mayo and eat it with a spoon or fork. This is a small meal that has decent protein while being low in fat and overall calories. It is also low in carbs.

The biggest problem is the panic football we are playing. The fluidity isn't there down the pitch. All these new signings haven't even played a match together yet, so its hard to know what the service will be like to those up front. I wouldn't panic buy a striker this window. Tevez is a beast when in form and he;ll get there, its just a matter of improving other area's until Rooney gets back and pulling together as a team. In reality we have a lot of players that can score. One good match will help the confidence and it can do wonders. That's not to say though that some height up front would not benefit.

Guitar Stringing???

The other day, I decided to restring my guitar, so I bought new acoustic guitar strings. They are medium .013-.056, phosphor bronze. I've never completely restrung a guitar before, so this was my first time. Anyway, I restrung it, and played it, and it sounded pretty bad. I think the previous strings it had on were light. Now, it sounds kind of echoey and tinny. Did I string it wrong? Is it just the sound these strings are supposed to have? Did I bend the neck? What should I do?

Did you know that Medicaid ( A government run/funded program) dictates what hospitals can charge, how and when? For example if you went to a hospital and recieved 5 injections of a certain medicine, that the hospital can only charge you for 1 of those injections. So the hospital ends up taking a hit, now Medicaid has a lot more strain on what they can charge than just medications but with just that example they lose the money for 4 injections of that certain medication, so what do they do they raise prices. Welfare only reimburses the hopital a certain percentage of the total cost of stay, Medicaid again for example only reimburses 30% now alot of hospitals recieve the majority of there business from welfare participents, my hospital for example recieves 65% of it's business from people on government welfare programs, and each time they usually eat the cost, therefore raising prices for the average person with or without insurance, so why are we trying to go around the problem and adopt universal health care? Why don't we stop the problem at it's source which is the government. That being said if the government can't even control, moniter, and destribute appropriatly, since welfare is bankrupting us, then why do you think if we give them control of everything they will succeed? Also if welfare programs cost so much then what do you think the cost of healthcare would be for everyone? The government does not make money, as in they get all there money from tax payers or loans that the tax payer has to pay back, so can we say extremely higher taxes to a faulty program?

Road Test help?

I have gone on my road test a few times and failed each time including this week. One of my problems is that I do not have anyone to practice with except for my driving instructor so I probably do not have as many hours on the road as a "regular driver" taking their road test would. I am great while I am just on one of my driving lessons and also practicing a few minutes before my road test appointment. My instructor says that I tend to freeze up when on the road test. I feel that I am not nervous but do drive a little more cautiously to show them I am a good driver and that they will p me. The real issue during the road test is not three point turns or parallel but what I call "technical stuff" that would only apply to the area I am taking my road test. Like pulling out of a certain street or stopping at or yield at an intersection. On the piece of paper they said they failed me because I did not seem to have control over the vehicle.

Why does this shy girl do this (about eye contact)?

When I actually get to talk to her, for the most part, she'll look straight into my eyes and hold the stare (this eye contact doesn't always happen when we are talking to each other, it just happens more frequently). A couple of times, her eyebrows were raised and she got wide eyed. The majority of the time when we talk, she'll give me one word answers and then quickly look away. The "in-person" route is the best way, like you've said, but since your boss is inflexible, you may need to take your personal days to get it accomplished. I don't know how many off days you get, but you need to treat them like work days, because finding a job is WORK. If you don't treat it that way, you won't find anything. Joining the air force when I am 18?

I will be turning 17 soon and would like to join a branch of the military; preferably the air force. Dog is having Seizures then while at vet had pulmonary edema(fluid in the lungs)?

My Great swiss mountain dog, 14 months old had a batch of seizures about a month ago. 3 grand mal seizures within 12 hours. We took her to the vet where she was prescribed Diazepam orally for a month then let off to see if the siezures came back at which point we would start Phenobarbital. She seized about 36 hours after the last Diazepam. We gave her diazepam rectally during the first, 2 ampules then she had another shortly thereafter at which point we took her to the vet where she seized on the ride there and again at the vet clinic. While at the vet while they were checking her over and found fluid in her lungs. I'm wondering what might have caused this as they are saying that edema unrelated to the seizures/epilepsy and could have been a preexisting condition. She seemed perfectly normal earlier that day as we were running and playing pretty hard at the local dog park. I find it hard to believe that the dog was fine and running full out with her lungs half full of fluid. She would have had a hard time doing anything strenuous on half lung capacity. Does anyone know what else could cause this and if it could be related to the siezures? We are taking her for toxicology screening and probably for a CT scan to see if there is something else that they can find. I know epilepsy is common in this breed I just don't understand how these two things could happen so close together and not be related. Anyone ever heard of this or something similar, I'm worried for my girl.
