Is benzocaine (anaesthetic used in climax control condoms) dangerous?

im just wondering cuz i got some and they work well, but after looking up benzocaine i found out it can cause Methemoglobinemia (which basically suffocates the cells). Is the ammount found in those condoms (5%) enough to cause Methemoglobinemia? and is it safe in general?
