Heading into the real world wearing...what?

I am going to be graduating with a degree in psychology this December meaning that I'm going to have to start going to interviews to get a real job. I understand what appropriate work clothes are but what should I be wearing keeping in mind that I need to make people feel comfortable talking to me. I don't want to be overdressed but if I'm under-dressed then I won't be seen as a professional. What do you think? What would you like to see a counselor wear? Any other information like things to avoid, tips, good colors etc. would be very helpful. Thank you!
