XBOX LIVE MTU PROBLEMS?

I was doing fine for the last 2 weeks playing my roommate online XBOX LIVE (NCAA 2009). In the middle of one of our game, we lost connection to live. It dectected our ip and everything but the only thing it failed to detect is our MTU. I tried power cycling, and other stuff and im not sure what else i can do...
