If the Republicans can't end earmarks or reduce the debt, will they be gone in 2012?

Obama's fate lies in the economy. If jobs increase he will be reelected. Democrats are easy to please. But if the republicans fail to reduce the debt, their consituency will drop them like a bad habit. Republicans will jump ship and the tea party will rise again.
